Embossing skips ink entirely. We press your design into the fabric with a custom metal die, leaving a raised or sunken image in the garment itself. It is also called blind printing or relief printing. The result is subtle, tonal and tactile, the kind of detail people notice up close.
What styles of embossing do you offer?
- Blind embossing. A raised or debossed mark in the same color as the garment. Clean, quiet, all texture.
- Foil. Adds a metallic or colored foil layer to the embossed areas for a finish that catches light.
When should you choose embossing?
Embossing makes sense when:
- You want a tonal, minimal look instead of printed color
- The piece is premium brand merch or a capsule release
- You are ordering 50 pieces or more of one design
- You have time to plan, since embossing is a longer process

Why does embossing take longer?
Every embossing job starts with a custom metal die made from your design. That step takes time, and it is also why embossing starts at 24 pieces. Once the die is ready, each garment is pressed to set the design into the fabric. Same die, same pressure, same crisp edge on every piece in the run.
What designs work best?
Because the design becomes a metal die, some artwork translates better than others. Bold shapes and clean logos tend to read well in relief. Very fine lines and tiny text can get lost in the fabric. Send us your file and we will tell you honestly whether it is a good fit before you commit.
