How is my price determined?

Every quote is built from a few things:

The product. A heavyweight hoodie costs more than a basic tee.
Ink colors. In screen printing, each color needs its own screen.
Print placements. Front, back, sleeve: each location adds a print.
Quantity. Setup is spread across the run, so the per-piece price drops as quantity goes up.
Extras. Personalized names and numbers, samples and special requests.

Want to save? Order a few extras to reach a better price break, or simplify the art. Many designs look sharp in three, two or even one ink color.

How many do I have to order?

It depends on the method:

Every method: 6 pieces per order. We do not decorate orders of fewer than 6 pieces.
Screen printing: bold designs with a few solid colors, printed in-house. See screen printing.
Full-color or photo art: usually DTG or DTF.
Embroidery: for polos, hats, jackets and uniforms. See embroidery.
Names and numbers: heat transfer.

Not sure which method fits? Tell us the quantity and the art, and we will recommend one.

How can I get help with my design?

Send what you have. Every order gets a free art check before printing, so problems like low resolution or very thin lines are caught early. If you need artwork created or edited, email sales@tbsp.la and ask about graphic design assistance.

What will TBSP print?

Custom apparel brings people together, and we want designs that do the same. Our guidelines work on a simple scale.

We will not print designs that:

Infringe someone else’s trademarks, copyrights or other intellectual property
Encourage violence or hate, or attack people based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender, disability, national origin or sexual identity
Include hate speech or hate symbols
Promote hard drug use, or underage drinking or drug use
Feature explicit sexual content, or any sexualized content involving minors

We may decline or ask for changes to designs that:

Use crude language or strong sexual innuendo
Show violence not aimed at a person or group, such as historical images
Promote other illegal activity, or could inflame tensions around a recent event

We will happily print designs that build community, respect intellectual property and use content you own or are licensed to use.

When a design does not meet the guidelines, we will work with you on an alternative.
