Festivals, launches, tours, conferences, fundraisers, block parties. If it has a crowd, it needs a shirt. We print event apparel out of our Downtown LA shop, with screen printing in-house, embroidery for the crew that runs the show, and Rush or Super Rush when the date is close.
What gets printed for events?
The usual lineup:
- Staff and crew shirts with STAFF or CREW across the back
- Volunteer tees in a color you can spot across a parking lot
- Tour and show merch: tees, hoodies, hats and totes for the merch table
- Giveaways for attendees and booth visitors
- Embroidered polos for hosts, sales teams and front of house
- Commemorative shirts for runs, reunions and anniversaries
Browse blanks in our catalog, or tell us the vibe and we will pull options.
Which method should we use?
Quantity and look decide it:
- Bold logos with a few colors: screen printing, in-house. Bold, opaque ink that pops under stage lights and holds up for years.
- Full-color or photo art: usually DTG or direct to film, with no screens.
Every order starts at 12 pieces.
- Polos, hats and jackets: embroidery, clean stitched logos for the people in charge.
- Names, titles or numbers: heat transfer vinyl, different on every piece.
Mixing is normal. Screen-printed volunteer tees plus embroidered polos for event leads is a classic.
Work backward from showtime
Start from the moment the boxes need to be in your hands. Leave room to approve the art and to ship or pick up. If the date is tight, call (323) 433-0033 before you finalize the design. Rush (1 week, +15%) and Super Rush (3 business days, +30%) are open for tight deadlines, and we will tell you straight what is possible for your garment and quantity. See how rush runs work on Rush and Super Rush printing.
How do we get sizes right for a crowd?
For staff, collect sizes ahead of time. For giveaways and merch, most organizers weight the order toward the middle sizes and add a few extras for walk-ins and late crew. Give us the headcount and the audience, and we will talk through a size split when we quote.
Same shop, different stages
Brands run launch and pop-up shirts alongside their retail collections. Schools print for spirit days and graduation; see apparel for schools. Local businesses print for openings and team days; see printing for small businesses. Tournaments usually need team uniforms and jerseys too.
