Screens burned here. Ink pulled here.
Plenty of “local” print shops are a storefront in front of someone else’s press. Ours is the press. Every screen printed T-shirt order is printed in-house at 5738 Holmes Ave. in Los Angeles, which means the people quoting your job are standing next to the people printing it.
What makes screen printed tees worth it?
Screen printing lays down a thick, opaque layer of ink for each color in your design. That gives you:
- Punchy, saturated color that pops even on black and dark shirts
- A print that lasts through repeated washing and wearing
- Better value per shirt as your quantity climbs, because the screens are set up once
It is the go-to for brands, artists, events, teams and staff uniforms, starting at 12 shirts.
What affects the price of screen printed shirts?
No price list fits every job, but these are the levers that move your quote:
- Quantity. Setup is a one-time cost, so it spreads thinner over bigger runs.
- Number of ink colors. Each color needs its own screen and its own pass on press.
- Print locations. Front, back, sleeve and neck each add a separate print.
- The shirt itself. A basic cotton tee and a premium heavyweight blank cost different amounts.
Want to keep the price tight? Fewer colors and fewer locations go a long way. Our free art check will also point out where a design can be simplified without losing its punch.
Built for the bigger run
Screen printing shines when one design goes on a lot of shirts. Mixed sizes are normal, and you can run the same artwork across tees, long sleeves and tanks in one order. Add heat transfer names and numbers to personalize a team run, or pair printed tees with embroidered hats for a full set.
