Screen printing adds a one-time $25 screen per ink color per print spot; the white base on dark shirts is free. DTF and DTG have no setup fee. Embroidery is shown for a logo of about 7,000 to 8,000 stitches; digitizing is free from 24 pieces and $45 per logo below that. On a white shirt, DTG costs about $1.50 to $2.50 less per piece.
What changes the price
- Quantity. The biggest factor. Going from 24 to 72 shirts cuts the screen print price by about 25%.
- Number of ink colors. Screen printing adds a screen and a pass per color. Full-color art is often cheaper as DTF or DTG.
- Number of print spots. A back print or sleeve print is priced as its own spot. See front, back and sleeve printing.
- The garment. Heavyweight, oversized, organic and name-brand blanks cost more than a basic tee. Max prices any shirt in our catalog with its real blank price.
- Delivery date. Rush adds 15% and Super Rush adds 30%.
How to get the lowest price
- Order everything at once instead of in small batches.
- Keep screen printed designs to 1 to 3 colors.
- Use one print spot, or a small left-chest print plus a big back print.
- Pick a standard blank like the Gildan 5000 or Bella+Canvas 3001.
- Give us your date early so you don’t need Rush.
