Twelve shirts is an order

Screen printing makes sense once you have a stack of identical shirts. All-over printing does not care about the stack. Every piece is printed from its own sheet of sublimation paper and pressed on its own, so there are no screens to burn and nothing to spread across a big run.

That changes what you can do with an all-over print. You can order exactly what you need, from 6 pieces, when you need it.

Who is small-run all-over printing for?

  • Designers and new clothing lines testing a print before a full drop
  • Artists turning a piece of work into a wearable edition
  • Events and celebrations where each guest gets their own name or photo
  • Small businesses that want a handful of standout staff shirts without overbuying
  • Content creators who need a set of hero pieces for a shoot

Why start with a short run?

An all-over print is a big canvas, and a screen is not the fabric. A 6-piece first run lets you hold the real thing before you scale up:

  • See how your colors land on the actual polyester
  • Check how the pattern meets at the seams and under the arms
  • Confirm the fit and fabric weight with your team or customers
  • Photograph it for pre-orders before the full run exists

When you are happy, reorder in whatever quantity you need from the same artwork.

Personalize every piece

Because nothing is shared between shirts, personalization is built in. Swap names and numbers, rotate colorways, give every member of a crew their own photo, or print a numbered limited run. Send one file per variation, and our free art check confirms each one is ready before it hits the press.

What to know before you order

All-over prints are made with dye-sublimation, so they need polyester garments with a white or light base. The dye becomes part of the fabric, which means vivid color and no ink feel. For the full breakdown of the process, design tips and how panels are laid out, see our all-over printing in Los Angeles page.

Want a full-color print on cotton instead? Direct-to-garment and direct-to-film are strong options, both from 6 pieces. Ordering a bigger run of one design? Screen printing is usually the better value.

FAQ

Questions people ask

What is the minimum for all-over print shirts?

6 pieces, the same minimum as every order. Sublimation has no screens to set up, so a 6-piece run is a smart way to check colors and placement before committing to a larger run.

Can every shirt in my order have a different design?

Yes. Each piece is printed from its own artwork, so you can change names, photos, colors or the whole design from shirt to shirt.

Is all-over printing more expensive than a regular print?

It depends on the garment, the quantity and the artwork. Send the details through the quick quote form and we will reply within one business day with a real number.
